I requested support for my hike from a number of businesses. I didn't allow enough time for a lot of them to pan out, or for me to do the necessary follow up, but these are the ones that came through BIG TIME.

Link to Sunridge Farms' site: http://www.sunridgefarms.com/SunRidge Farms, based in Santa Cruz, provided lots of good healthy food at a great discount. I ate a lot more organic because SunRidge was willing to offer me great prices. My favorite of theirs was High Life Deluxe Snack Mix. It was mostly whole nuts with a few raisins. Yum.

Link to Odwalla's Site: www.odwalla.comOdwalla provided me with about 250 Odwalla Bars. They are great bars with not a lot of sweetener. I had 2-4 bars a day for the whole trip and always enjoyed them. I enjoyed the Superfood, Super Protein, Cranberry C Monster, Peanut Crunch, and Carrot. More info.

Staff of Life
Staff of Life helped me round out my food order and gave me a better-than-case price. Got lots of yummy stuff from my favorite grocery store in Santa Cruz.

Staff of Life Natural Foods Market
1305 Water St.
Santa Cruz, CA 95062-1517

I also got a large wholesale order from a friend at another health food coop.

I think if you place a big order, you can order yourself at or near wholesale from Mountain Peoples Warehouse. I think delivery is a limited to the West Coast, but they may be able to tell you about a similar coop near you.
